This is an exciting opportunity to join a PE-backed professional services business following its first institutional investment.

As the CFO, you will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, managing financial operations, and supporting ambitious growth plans.

You will collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure financial stability and optimize performance, while also managing their “Buy & Build” strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations and activities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CFO within a scaling SME (£20m to £50m revenue)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving margin improvement, establishing a robust and fit-for-purpose finance function, and preparing the business for a successful private equity sale

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership in all financial aspects of the company, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives.

• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

Our client is a high-performing software acquirer currently operating across the US and Europe. The business has a great track record of acquiring SaaS businesses since it’s inception 2 years ago; they are looking to add a French speaker to the team of originators.
 
Responsibilities:

• Create a pipeline of founder led software businesses within France through thematic research.
• Make initial outreach to founders/CEO through LinkedIn, email, phone call or attending conferences.
• Create basic valuation models for potential sellers.

 
Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English and French
• Have a proven track record of successfully sourcing deals which have led to a closed acquisition.
• Be a highly driven individual.

 
Please note, this role does involve semi-frequent travel across France and to London where the business is headquartered.
